Always be respectful.
Always be humble.
No foul language inside the academy.
Address all blackbelt instructors as professor & all colored belt instructors as coach.
No coaching your children or other students during class.
If you are late for class, wait outside the mat until the professor gives you permission to enter.
Do not leave the mat during class without permission from the professor or coach.
When the instructor is demonstrating the techniques, students must pay attention and not talk.Talking should be kept to a minimum and relate to the class subject.
Students shall not train with active viral, bacterial, or fungal infections.
All students and visitors must wear a CLEAN, WHITE uniform with no other school or affiliation patches.
Always wear your shoes or sandals when you are off the mat. To avoid staining, please make sure your feet are clean before stepping on the mat.Wipes are provided to clean feet as needed.
You must always wear a rash guard under the gi top.
All jewelry, piercings, necklaces, rings and other items should be removed during training.
Keep fingernails and toenails neatly trimmed.
Shoes, food, drinks and electronic devices are not allowed on the mat.
All bags and training gear should be kept on the shelves.If the mats are crowded, lower belts yield to higher belts when sparring.
Absolutely no heel hooks, reverse heel hooks, or leg reaping when training in the gi.
Students will line up to begin class by bowing in. Then line up to end class by bowing out and shaking hands with fellow students.
